Sarah is co-founder of the Jasmine Foundation, married to Charlie. Jasmine was their eldest child, and older sister to Sasha, Flora and Edward. The family and their animals grew up in the countryside surrounded by the Pentland Hills.

Sarah has worked with Charlie to understand the complex nature of childhood depression and the fragility of young minds. She is a former trustee of Richmond’s Hope the children’s bereavement charity and has volunteered for the Super Power Agency in Edinburgh in addition to being a friend and fundraiser of the Mental Health Foundation.

Charlie recently retired from the Edinburgh-based global investment management firm Walter Scott, where he served as Executive Director of Investment. Having joined the business in 1991, he has held a range of investment management, client service and governance responsibilities. He is also on the board of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and for over 10 years was a Trustee of the Orcome Trust based in the Pentlands. Charlie is keen to help others in their research, support and advice around the Jasmine Foundation.
